Is it possible for an underaged passenger to travel alone?

The carriage of unaccompanied underaged passengers is permitted under certain conditions and varies by ferry company. The parent or legal guardian of the underaged passenger needs to fill out a Declaration of Responsibility with the original signature from the Police or Port Authority. The underaged passenger must have the original Declaration with them for boarding. The Ship's Officers or the Port Authorities are responsible for checking the documents and identity certificates.
