Arrive at the embarkation area a reasonable period before departure (usually 1 hour, but always check with the ferry company).
If you are traveling by car, you should be earlier at the departure gate. Keep in mind that drivers are required to board and disembark their vehicles themselves. The priority order for vehicle embarkation is determined by the Port Regulations of the respective Port Authority.
Be prepared to present a valid travel document (ID or passport) and proof of any applicable discounts (e.g., student card). The company reserves the right to deny boarding if these documents are not provided.
During embarkation, you will need to present your ticket (printed or e-ticket) for scanning or inspection.
