The boarding method depends on the ferry company and is always described in your booking confirmation email. Here are all the possible methods:
1. E-ticket: Most ferry companies use e-tickets, so no ticket collection is required. You can board directly using the boarding passes provided in your booking confirmation email.
2. Paper Coupons. You need to pick up your boarding passes in printed form, from one of the ticket collection points specified in your booking confirmation email.
3. Online check-in. Some ferry companies require you to check in online on their website. After completing the check-in, you will be able to download your boarding passes.
4. Booking Confirmation email. You can board directly by showing your booking confirmation email or the trip details on the app.
5. ID or Passport Boarding. You can board directly by presenting an ID card or passport.
6. Check-in pass. You need to collect your tickets from the ferry company's ticket office at the port before boarding by showing your check-in pass which you will find in the booking confirmation email.
7. Port check-in. You need to collect your tickets from the ferry company's ticket office at the port before boarding by showing your booking confirmation email or the trip details screen on the app.
8. Ferryhopper email. We will send you an email with detailed boarding instructions, which often include your boarding passes as attachments.
If your boarding method does not specify the need to collect tickets or provide additional documents, there is no need for further action.
